Morningtest Salt Spray Test Chamber for Automotive Parts is the most reliable equipment for checking the corrosion resistance of surface coatings when exposed to a salt-laden environment. This time-tested product has been specifically designed to assess the rust-proof ability of components to withstand corrosion due to atmospheric conditions. It provides complete flexibility in simulation of real life weathering conditions.

 

Salt spray test chamber is suitable for standard salt/fog testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO ***7 (DIN ****1),ASTM B**7 and similar international test standards, and can be used with pH neutral salt solutions (NSS) or those acidified by the addition of Acetic Acid (ASS) or Cupric Acid (CASS).

 

Salt spray chambers are commonly used to evaluate the corrosive properties of:Phosphated surfaces (with subsequent paint/primer/lacquer/rust preventive); Zinc and Zinc-alloy plating (see also electroplating); Electroplated chromium, nickel, copper and tin; Coating not applied electrolytically (such as zinc flake coating);Organic Coating.

·      The glass atomizing nozzle insures the salt solution is introduced into the test environment evenly and at the proper concentration.
