APPLICATION FIELDS
***0 silicone is suitable for sealing and joining
constructions of glass, aluminium, tiles, ceramics, glazed tiles,
metals (zinc, copper, etc.), plastics (PVC, epoxides, polyester,
polyacrylate, formica, etc.), varnished or painted wood, etc.
***0 IS ESPECIALLY SUITABLE FOR SEALING JOINTS ON POWDER
COATED ALUMINIUM FRAMES, ON THE EXTERNAL SIDE OF THE FRAME BETWEEN
THE ALUMINIUM AND THE MARBLE.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
CARTRIDGES
The closed cartridge is cut at the point where the thread
ends. Then the nozzle is screwed on the cartridge and cut
(slantwise preferably) to form an opening proportional to the joint
width. After the cartridge has been cut appropriately, the sealant
is applied in the joint with the use of a hand- or air-gun.
The sealant must be applied on clean and dry surfaces (without
any dust, loose particles, oil, etc.).
The use of self-sticking paper tape (MASKING TAPE) on both
sides of the joint is recommended, in order to avoid soiling.
Immediately after the application of the sealing material in
the joint, the surface of the uncured sealant is smoothed with the
use of a spatula or by finger.
Restrictions :The width of the joint must be
neither less than **4 mm, nor more than ****0 mm.
Precautions : Contact with eyes must be
completely avoided. In such case wash with plenty of water. Keep it
away from children
Storage stability :at least *2 months if
stored in a cool (below *5oC) and dry place.
