IV***0 is a dedicated range of IV dressings designed to meet the demands of modern IV site care. IV***0 offers several important features:

• IV***0 film and unique grid pattern adhesive allowing optimum moisture vapour transfer to reduce moisture accumulation and bacterial growth4;
• High MVTR (typically *4,**0g/m2 minimum per *4hrs at *7°C);
• Waterproof, allowing the patient to shower with the dressing in-situ5;
• Features two improved7,8 securing strips and a documentation label.

• The moisture-responsive technology1 of IV***0™ reacts in the presence of moisture or water by removing it from underneath the dressing, maintaining optimum conditions for the IV incision site.

  At the same time, IV***0 acts as a bacterial and viral barrier**3,6.  This is enhanced by the grid-pattern adhesive, which increases the moisture-responsive properties of the dressing.

  Why is the moisture-responsive property so important in an IV dressing?

  Unlike a wound which requires a moist environment to heal, an IV site needs to be moisture-free. This reduces the risk of bacterial proliferation, and in turn, helps the dressing stay in place.
