PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS

Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms. Oxytetracycline has a significant inhibitory effect on both Gram-positive bacteria such as pneumococcus, streptococcus, staphylococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium  tetani, Corynebacterium,Gram-negative bacteria like Escherichia coli, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Brucella, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Lorfflerella mallei etc.

It can also effectively inhibit mycoplasma, Chlamydia,rickettsia and spirochetes.

INDICATION

Oxytetracycline is a long-acting compound preparation for the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract and urinary tract infections.

It can prevent and cure respiratory disease such as asthma, contagious, pleuropneumonia, bronchitis, rhinitis, Eperythrozoonsis, Streptococcus disease, toxoplasmosis caused by single infection, mixed infection, mixed infection and secondary infection, enteritis, septicemia, metritis, mastitis, foot rot,sinusitis,Eperythrozoon,asthma,Brucellosis,abscess,salmonellosis and mixed infections caused by bacterial and viral.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

-Hypodermic Injection, each time:

lHorses and cattle:**5ml/**0Kg  body weight;

lSheep and goats:1ml/*0Kg body weight;

lLamps:0.**1ml/*0Kg body weight;

lPoultry:0.***0.5ml per hen

Once per day, with accordance to the symptoms for **3 consecutive days.

PRECAUTION

lFor veterinary use only:

lIt is suggested that if the dose is larger than normal, inject at separate spots.

lIt must not be given to animals in late pregnancy,animals with severe bad liver or kidney and to animals oversensitive to oxytetracycline;

lKeep out the reach of children.

WITHDRAWAL

-Animals must not be treated within *8 days of slaughter for human consumption;

PERIOD

-Animals must not be treated within 7 days of producing milk for human consumption.
