The molecular weight of the **0 ~ ***0. Relatively low molecular weight polymer is soluble in water.

High molecular weight polymer only slightly soluble in water, but soluble in oils, many hydrocarbon and aliphatic alcohol, ketones, ester etc. Molecules can esterification on both ends of the hydroxyl single or double ester were generated.

Its single ester is ionic of surfactant, also can and alcohol transamination ether. Is vegetable oil, resin and paraffin wax solvent, also used in preparation of alkyd resin, emulsifier, anti emulsifier, lubricating oil and plasticizer, etc. By epoxy propane and propylene glycol acid catalysts in the presence of high voltage or condensation.
