Product Reference Standards
Semolina(Sooji or Rawa) means the product prepared from clean wheat free from rodent 
hair and excreta by process of grinding and bolting. It shall be free from musty smell and 
off-odour and shall be creamy yellow in colour. It shall conform to the following standards:
Moisture:
Not more than *4.*0 % (when determined by heating at ******3° C for 2 hours).
Total Ash:
Not more than 1.0 % ( on dry weight basis)
Ash insoluble in dilute HCL: 
Not more than 0.*0% (on dry weight basis)
Gluten:
Not less than 6.0 % (on dry weight basis)
Alcoholic acidity ( with *0% alcohol ) expressed as H2SO4 (on dry weight basis)
Not more than 0.*8 %
It shall be free from Rodent hair and excreata.
