Roof PV power generation (system), also called the home power station, is the abbreviation of a small solar PV power generation system and belongs to distributed PV power generation system. Roof PV power generation system generally utilizes house roof, idle land and licensed public site as the construction site, and the system mainly includes: solar PV module, inverter, combiner box and power distribution cabinet. And it transmits electric energy to public grid by accessing to it to obtain electric charge and special subsidies, achieving its economic benefits. Two running modes (generating electricity by themselves and for their own use, with excessive one selling to State Grid Corporation of China and selling all electric energy to State Grid Corporation of China) are available for home power station as per the will of owners. Roof PV power generation is of great significance to optimizing energy structure, promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, and achieving sustainable economic development.
