WHAT IT IS: the electric rotary manifold (or electric rotary distributor) is an electromechanical device that allows the transmission of electrical and/or power signals from a static structure to a rotating one, in a continuous way over **0°.
HOW IT IS: it consists of a slip ring complete with brushes and brush-holders. It is protected by a cover made of aluminium, steel or other materials that guarantee an IP*5 protection or higher according to the needs of application requested by the customer.
All mechanical parts, usually made of aluminium and/or steel, are manufactured using CNC machines to ensure greater precision in machining. The mechanical parts are protected with anti-oxidation treatments, electrochemical treatments or special paint to guarantee a long life. Where required, materials such as stainless steel or special plastics are used. The rings of the electrical manifolds are made of bronze or brass. The contact is ensured by double arm brush-holders with the aid of brushes made of different materials according to the type of electrical signal combined with the surface treatment of the ring.
