Fast boarding, the modality, due to not being dependent on the structure of big ports, also achieves the importation markets which dont have conditions to receive big ships. This is the case of ports with minor infrastructure in Asian and African countries. The usage of containers also cooperates for the strategic exportation. While a bulk-carrier berth only in one destined port, the shipment can be dispatched to many locations in one trip, including the possibility that the ship may berth in a port and redistribute the container cargo to other ships with variable destinations.
