SPI FLASH

The FM*5Q*6 SPI flash supports the standard Serial peripheral Interface (SPI), and supports the Dual/Quad SPI: Serial Clock, Chip Select, Serial Data I/O0(DI), I/O1(DO), I/O2(/WP), and I/O3(/HOLD).

SPI clock frequencies of up to **4MHz are supported allowing equivalent clock rates of **8MHz for Dual Output and **6MHz for Quad Output when using the Fast Read Dual/Quad I/O instructions. These transfer rates are comparable to those of 8 and **-bit Parallel Flash memories.

The FM*5Q*6 array is organized into 8,**2 programmable pages of ***-bytes each. Up to **6 bytes can be programmed at a time using the Page Program instructions. Pages can be erased Sector, *2KB Block, *4KB Block or the entire chip.

The devices operate on a single 2.7V to 3.6V power supply with current consumption as low as 5mA active and 3μA for Deep Power-down. All devices offered in space-saving packages. The device supports JEDEC standard manufacturer and device identification with a 4K-bit Secured OTP.
