Assay principles

TheREAGEN™Tetrodotoxin indirect competitive ELISA is an immunoassay for the quantitative and sensitive detection of Tetrodotoxin in water samples andpuffer fish samples. Antigen is coated intest wells,The sample extract and calibrators are pipetted into the test wells followed byTTX monoclone antibody into the test wells to initiate the reaction. After this*0 minutes incubation the wells are washed with wash solution.Then add enzymes labeled anti-mouse IgG antibody, incubation,then adding the color solution, terminate thereaction by thestop solutions, measuredthe amount of color in each well with a microplate reader at OD **0nmThe color of the unknown samples is compared to the color of the calibrators and theTTX concentration of the samples is derived.
