Most Safeline surgical instruments are made from ISO ***3/1 and BS ***4/1 certified, Martensitic American steel type **0. This steel is highly corrosion resistant and has excellent longevity when properly maintained. Composition details, as specified by the manufacturer, of each of the types of steel that we use may be made available. All steel composition and characteristics are in full conformity with ISO/DIN/ASTM standards.
