Specification: White crystalline powder

Applications: Veterinary antibiotic. It is a diterpenic veterinary drug widely used in swine for the control of infectious diseases, including swine dysentery and enzootic pneumonia. 

Re-entry period: Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 7 days after the latest treatment with this medicated feed. 
Caution: Swine being medicated with tiamulin should not have access to or be treated with tiamulin incompatible polyether ionophores (e. G.: Monensin, salinomycin, narasin). 

Recommended dosages: 
For swine dysentery 3.5mg itamulin per pound b. W. Daily for 5 consecutive days
For swine pneumonia *0.5mg tiamulin per pound b. W. Daily for 5 consecutive days
