Product name:Trichloromethane;chloroform;
Organic synthetic raw materials, mainly used to produce refrigerant (R-21, R-22, R-23), dyes and drugs, in medicine, often used as anesthetics. It can be used as a solvent and extractant for antibiotics, spices, oils, resins and rubber. Mixed with carbon tetrachloride, a non-freezing fire-proof liquid can be made. It is also used for propellant of aerosol agent, fumigant of grain and standard liquid of calibration temperature. Industrial products are usually added with a small amount of ethanol, so that the generated phosgene reacts with ethanol to produce non-toxic diethyl carbonate. A small amount of concentrated sulphuric acid can be added before industrial products are used, shaken and washed, and dried by calcium chloride or potassium carbonate, so that chlorine without ethanol can be obtained.
