This dye is considered by the dyer community to be the most superior quality in the world. Besides this, the indigotin content in our dye is unmatched in the subcontinent as our production process is highly modern and scientific in nature besides our emphasis on producing top quality. The Bengal Indigo Dye comes from indigofera tinctoria, in dictionary terms ‘true indigo’, native to the northwest of Bangladesh, the famous indigo producing region of Bengal. Nilpharmari, named by the British for its ‘nil farming’ and Rangpur are the key areas where this superior indigo is being grown and the dye produced.
