TUV certification is an electric vehicle charging cable
standard promulgated by German Rheinland. It provides one-stop
testing and product certification services for EV cables, and
comprehensively leads the market for EV charging cable standards.
As long as the products are sold in Germany, they must pass TUV
certification.
TUV certification is the most authoritative professional
third-party certification body in the Asia-Pacific region, with
rich experience. TUV Rheinland briefly described some criteria for
judging the quality of EV charging cables.
1. Cables are inevitably dragged in daily use, so the product
needs to have high flexibility, wear resistance and crack
resistance.
2. Especially the cables used on outdoor charging piles are
