A rear diffuser is designed to install on the underside of your vehicle to assist in the evacuation of unwanted air that collects on the underside of your car at speed. 

The diffuser works beneficially in two ways: 

1.it evacuates the high pressure air under the vehicle to increase downforce 

2. it channels the air towards the back of the vehicle to reduce drag.

 These two functions will increase your stability and cornering ability at high speeds as well as increase acceleration and decrease fuel consumption.

 Race cars have been utilizing this technology for decades and many high end exotic vehicles feature rear diffusers.
