Working Principle
Main components of air are nitrogen and oxygen. Design appropriate
technology process to separate nitrogen and oxygen with the use of
different adsorptive property (oxygen can be absorbed
through nitrogen) of nitrogen and oxygen on zeolite
molecular sieve(ZMS) under ambient temperature, so as to acquire
oxygen .The adsorptive capacity of oxygen is stronger
than oxygen(the acting force between oxygen and the surface
of molecular sieve is strong) .When air passes through the
adsorption bed with under the state of pressue,nitrogen is absorbed
by molecular sieve. Oxygen is collected and flow out of the
adsorption bed for little adsorption, and we can acquire oxygen
through separation of nitrogen and oxygen. When molecular
sieve adsorption of nitrogen reach to saturation, and then stop
entering the air and reducing pressure of the adsorption ,the
molecular sieve adsorption of nitrogen adsorption out of the
molecular sieve regeneration and can be reused. This two adsorption
bed rotation switch can continuously produce oxygen.
The boiling point of Oxygen and nitrogen are is very
close,soclose,so it's very difficult to separate them,
so the The PSA Nitrogen Equipment usually only get
a depth of ****5% oxygen (oxygen limit concentration of
*5.6%,the rest is argon),also known as oxygen-rich.the cryogenic
air separation equipment can make more than *9.5% of the
concentration of oxygen.
Equipment Process
The PSA oxygen Equipment must contain two steps: adsorption and
desorption. For getting the continuous pure oxygen, usually device
includes more than two adsorption beds, each adsorption bed
generally goes through adsorption, pressure relief, vacuum
cacuumize,pressure reduce,pressre equalizing ,it takes periodic
operation.
At the same time ,each adsorption bed works at the different
steps,and it will automatically switch under the control of the
PLC,two adsorp beds to coordinate cooperate to get the continuous
oygen.
For the acutal separation process, we must also consider the other
trace components in the air.The adsorption capacity of carbon
dioxide and water on adsobbent are more than nitrogen and oxygen
,so it should fill more suitable adsorbent in the adsorption
bed (or use oxygen adsorbent itself) to remove it
out.
The number of adsorption tower of the oxygen plant depends on
the oxygen scale ; multiple-tower operation will get better
performance with high investment,and the current trend is:the
use of efficient oxygen adsorbent to minimize the number of
adsoption towr and the short operatin cycle, to improve the
efficiency of the devie to save invest.
