Description     R-SIL*1is apowdered water repellent agent for dry construction mixtures comprising a mixture of organopolysiloxanes and special additives on an inorganic foundation.

Application     R-SIL*1 is recommended for use incement and cement-plaster dry construction mixtures with alkali pH in order to reduce water absorption and impart hydrophobic properties to the final product.

Physical Properties

Dosage     Recommended concentrationdepending on the formulation and is in the range of about 0.*1 0.2%,depending on the desired effect.

Storage and Handling     Frost-resistant powder. Optimal storage temperature is about 5 - *5 °C. The minimum shelf life is *4 months from manufacture date.
