Clinical Application:

**-OHVDis used for quantitative detection of **-hydroxyvitamin D in human serum and plasma in vitro. **-Hydroxyvitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium that is characteristic of vitamin D. That is, it induces the synthesis of calpain in the small intestine. At the same time, 1,**-dihydroxy D3 is delivered to the bone to promote calcium concentration.

Method comparisons show high correlation to Central Laboratory systems, providing confidence in marking clinical decisions.
