Skorpion **0 RB is a drum-type chipper, meant for cooperation with a min. **0 HP farm tractor. The drive is transmitted from PTO shaft of a tractor with the speed of ******0 revolutions per minute. Due to the large size of the material to be chipped (with a diameter up to **0 mm) this chipper is dedicated to the mechanical loading of wood wastes with the use of a hydraulic crane (as a standard the chipper is equipped with base for its attachment). Large loading area and **0 x **0 mm inlet allows chipping broad branches and other bulky forms of wood wastes.

In the standard version of chipper, the feeding system consists of built on a rocker large diameter toothed roll and a feeding table equipped with toothed **0 mm in length chain feeder, proceeded by manually folded flap. As an option the chipper can be equipped with a hydraulically folding loading table, in which two toothed chain feeders of the total length of ***0 mm are installed. Standard version of the chipper is equipped with a hydraulic pump powering the wood feeding system. Roll and chain feeders both are driven by hydraulic gear-motors.

A sector-type  drum with four cutting knives (one rotation of the drum for one full cut) allows to achieve a very high potential of the chipper with a relatively low power of the tractor. Knives can be sharpened several times even *5 mm of the nominal size - assuring theirs long-term use.

Installed screen ensures high regularity if chips. Chips are advanced from under the screen to the fan by two screw conveyors, than discharged thorough the ejection tube. Standard version of the chipper is equipped with manually swiveled by **0°ejection tube (optionally the chipper might be equipped with hydraulically foldable ejection tube with automatic swivel control by **0°, both controlled by joystick.

The construction of the chipper is set on a single axial chassis allowing the towing of the machine on all types of roads. As a standard, the machine is equipped with a rigid suspension without brake, allowing to move it with a speed up to *5 km/h. Chipper can also be equipped with a sprung axle and *0 km/h towing speed or an air-type suspension and *0 km/h speed both axles are equipped with air brakes.

Loading table positioned at *0° to the direction of travel allows simultaneous transport of the chipper and trailer with a tractor (chipper is equipped with approved towing device).

The chipper is equipped with modern LED road lighting.

As a standard, the chipper is also additionally equipped with one of the most advanced electronic system of work control available on European market  automatically protecting the propulsion system of the machine against overload/excessive duty through temporary stopping the feeding unit.

Easily editable software of the No-stress system provides a simple way to change the settings of the machine adapting it to individual needs. Preset "thick wood" and "thin wood" modes allow fast and easy change of the operation of the chipper in order to match the current material to be shred and increase the effectiveness of work. Total- and daily- hour meter is built into this system.

Produced chips may be used as a solid fuel for heating, as a raw material for production of paper, furniture boards, and after additional disintegrating in a hammer mill for pellets and briquettes production.
