SJ**1 is defined as a fluorine-alkali type of special agglomerated fluxes. It's alkali degree is 1.8. They are gray ball grains the size of which are from 2.**0.*8mm (****0 meshes). It adopts AC/DC. The wire is connected to the positive rod when DC. The Si and Mn will not be increased. It has nice welding technical performance property with steady electric arc, and the features of good slag detachability, spotless, non-viscidity and nice welding line configuration. The welding line metal has relatively high impact tenacity. Applications: Matching with proper fluxes, it can be used to weld some important products as body of ships, boilers, and pressure vessels pipes of low alloy steel structures. It can be applied to multiple-layer welding, double-face single way welding, multi-wire welding and SAW in a narrow clearance.
