Applications of Air Slide Fabrics
Heading Filter Air slide Fabrics are available in
three varieties :
a) Polyester based airslide fabrics : The filter fabrics are
solid woven with filament polyester
b) Polyamide or Nylon based air slide fabrics : These
fabrics are solid woven with nylon which having the following
characteristics This Air permeable fabrics is used for pneumatic
conveyors of bulk materials. It is an indispensable part of
cement plant, chemical industry, metallurgical industry, dense
phase systems, air/fluid slides bulk cement tank trucks, ship and
fixed cement tanks.
c) Cotton based Air Slide Fabrics : Cotton is used in
both warp and weft in these solid woven cloth fabrics and have
the following characteristics :
1. It absorbs humidity hence moisture free applications are
recommended
2. It is self cleansing it can be silicon-to suit specific
requirement
3. Good for the conveyance of non-abrasive or mild
abrasive-materials
