The Assay+ Covid-19 IgM/IgG rapid test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay to qualitatively to detect and differentiate IgM and IgG antibodies to Covid-19 in serum, plasma or whole blood specimens from the patients suspected with Covid-19 infection.

Test results from Assay+ Covid-19 IgM/IgG Rapid Test reveal the specific IgM antibody in blood several days after initial infection, and the specific IgG antibody after 4-5 day infection. Both positive IgG and IgM result is indicative between acute and recent infection.

Positive results must be confirmed by viral nucleic acid detection by RT-PCR for confirmation of COVID-19 virus infection. This test should not be used as the sole method of diagnosing a Covid-19 infection.
