BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Canthaxanthin is a carotenoid pigment widely distributed in natural shells, fish, algae, and insects, is a kind of very important carotenoids.Canmake the color of the egg yolk and meat bright.
SPECIFICATIONS

Appearance	Dark purple granules powder
Canthaxanthin	≥10%
Solubility	uniformly dispersible in water but not dissolution
Particle Size	95% more of particles go through 20 mesh; 50% less of particles go through 60 mesh; 10% less of particles go through 100 mesh

INDICATION
Canthaxanthin mainly used as animal feed additive to enhance the yellow-orange color of egg yolk. It is also used for coloring broiler skin.
KEY BENEFITS AND CHARACTERISTICS
Besides as a colorant,the biological functions of canthaxanthin are related, at least in part, to its ability to function as a lipid-soluble antioxidant (free radical scavenging/vitamin E sparing) in animal tissues.
1. After coloring, the tone is not affected by the pH value,quite stable to sunlight and not easy to fade.
2.Canthaxanthin can also act as an antioxidant, protecting animal cells from free radiation.
3.It can also change the skin fat and so on of poultry,Increases the color and brightness of skin, feet, ketone bodies and eggs.
USAGE & RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:
Canthaxanthin is allowed by law to be added to trout feed, salmon feed and poultry feed.
Recommended dosage: Don't exceed the limit 80mg/kg.

Egg laying hens	8 mg/kg in feed
Other poultry and salmonids	25 mg/kg in feed

STORAGE: Canthaxanthin 10% is sensitive to air, heat, light and humidity.
