Humulin (Generic name: Insulin) *0/*0 is a mixture of *0% intermediate-acting insulin (isophane) and *0% short-acting insulin (regular, [rDNA origin]). It works by lowering levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood. Humulin starts to work as quickly as regular insulin but lasts up to *4 hours following injection.
