The ultraviolet radiation is obtained with 8 low pressure fluorescent tubes Philips type Tl 100W/01 whose UV emission is concentrated around 311nm.

This lamp can be programmed using two mechanical timers to function up to 15 minutes.

Shutdown, the programmed time, is automatic.

It's equipped with caster base with braking device, hour meter and additional digital countdown timer, safety goggles for eye protection to operator and patient.
