In terms of R&D, we enhance our R&D capacity through independent development and international cooperation. In addition, we expand our strategic cooperation with world-known pharmaceutical multinational companies through outsourcing our R&D lab and providing tailored processing services of special intermediates for our clients. DSM-Sinochem Pharmaceuticals (DSP for short), our joint venture with Royal DSM N.V., owns rich bacteria strains resources for pharmaceutical development and plentiful international patents, has proprietary intellectual property in key technologies, and has developed an integrated application and development platform of highly-efficient bio-catalytic technology. Shenyang Research Institute for Chemical Industry is the first safety assessment institute in China receiving the GLP certification granted by the OECD country, and is able to conduct safety assessment and testing for pharmaceuticals, pesticides and other chemical products.
