Slack Wax Heavy Grade Grade ****7%

Heavy slack wax has higher melting and congealing point , this grade has about *5% oil content It is product of petroleum refining, in last years it considered as waste of the refineries and they paid to get rid of this product but now it is so useful that most of the refineries slack wax is booked and purchased some month before producing.
Packing is drum in summer time and can be polyamide bags during cold seasons to prevent any deformation and leakage during delivery.

Heavy slack wax **5% oil content, has lower oil content among other grades of slack wax The advantage of less oil content is probability of packing in bags.

Slack waxes are minimally refined high oil products. They are derived from lubricating oils and often find applications "as they are" with relatively high oil content, or are further processed to produce more refined waxes. Most slack waxes do not meet FDA requirements for food packaging. Slack waxes range from **5°F to **0°F in melting point, and their oil content ranges from 5.0% to as much as *5%.
Slack waxes are widely used in the production of wax emulsions, construction board, matches, candles, rust protective products and moisture vapor barriers.
One of the many products derived from refining is lubricating oil, from which a byproduct called slack wax is obtained. Slack wax is a mixture of oil and wax. It is the product, which serves as IGI's feedstock and that is further refined and blended to create value-added petroleum wax products.
