Automatic welding column and boom is welding equipment with electric and machinery, it is mainly used for inner and outer longitudinal seam welding and girth welding of the vessels, tank, boiler and other cylinders. Column and boom consists of column (Including lifting unit, slide base, anti-drop unit and weight balance unit), boom (Including rack and boom driving part), rotation unit (manual or electrical), rotation lock unit (manual or gas driving), trolley (manual or electrical), mini-boom and other parts. Every part adopts modular structure, the column and boom are the basic parts, and others can be selected as per the customer’s requirement. Column and boom adopt welded structure parts, with perfect rigidity. Light style column and boom adopts triangle guide track, heavy and super heavy style adopt plane guide track, after planning and milling for machining, ensuring the high precision and anti-grind for the guide track. Welding head is installed on the end of the boom, the boom is installed on the slide base, it is driven by imported transducer or servo driver to realize step-less speed adjustment (The servo driver is mainly used for wide range speed adjustment and high precision welding, for normal customers, choosing transducer can fit the requirement), low speed with big wring power, the boom can extend along the slide base, the extending adopts AC motor or servo motor through gear reducer and driven by gear rack. Slide base is installed on the column, can lift along the column with constant speed. Anti-drop unit is equipped on the lifting unit, if accident occurs, it can avoid boom dropping. Column, slide base and boom can rotate ±**0°. Rotation can adopt manual control, manual lock can adopt electric rotation, electric lock, depending on the customers’ requirement.
