Description

1. General DDS*8u single-phase multi-function PLC watt-hour meter is designed as the terminal of Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system. It can communicate and exchange the data with concentrator via power line. The meter can freeze the energy in the end of the month so the AMR system can read the data automatically in meter reading day. The performance of meter complies with the standard IEC****6 and IEC *******1 DDS*8u is the multi-function and multi-tariff meter, it has four tariffs and can measure total active energy consumption in different tariff period. All data and parameters are stored in non-volatile memory. Remote control is one of the most important features of DDS*8u. AMR system can cut off the power supply through switch off the relay inside the meter. The meter can also act as the repeater, xxxxx AMR system can read the data in the DDS*8u through maximum 3 levels to the destination, this function improve the reliability of AMR system a lot.
