CG—PI **8 is a kind of highly effective water photoinitiator with free radical (Ⅱ style), it absorbs ultraviolet ray to act chemical reaction. It is fit with unsaturated polyester, acrylic acid monomer etc., which compose the water photocuring material. So CG—PI **8 has the big virtue that it is soluble well in water; the wavelenth could be absorbed is distinctly longer than that of other photoinitiators. The maximum absorption of wavelength is **5nm. CG—PI **8 is suitable for UV-cure screen printing inks, plastic lacquers, overprint varnishes, flexographic, gravure printing ink, Flexo Inks , electronical products, wood coatings and photoresist. Such high effective photoinitiator is also used alone with these field:colorless or pigmented paint, printing ink, lumber furniture decorative paint, and photocuring adhesive etc.
