Lattice-like magnetic separators with permanent magnets are used for extraction of ferromagnetic particles out of flow of granular materials or liquid (machinery oil, vegetable oil, chocolate, food syrup, aqueous slip of ceramic materials etc.) moving on product pipes and conveyors, on various enterprises for protection of processing equipment against various metal objects and for impoverishment of metal impurities from granular materials and liquids. Lattice-like magnetic separators are generally settled on product pipes and conveyors where installation of stationary magnetic separators is inconvenient or their use is inexpedient. Drum-type magnetic separators are designed for extraction of ferromagnetic particles out of flow of granular material (food products, plastic raw materials, construction materials) with high grade of concentration of metal impurities. Separators are settled as independent equipment or instead of driving drum of conveyor in overflow place of separated material on conveyor belt.
