Description

The TIS shearing machine is equipped with a light body , easy to use for removing excess weld bead from the track joint after thermal welding. For a precise shearing off the weld bead from the rail head ( still melting ), the machine is fixed to the track near the welding point. The shearing head has a knife following the rail profile . This unit can be adjusted operating on the setting screw to fix the cutting depth. The shearing head can be moved forward and or backward operating on the hydraulic pump either manually and or connecting the equipment to the hydraulic control unit . the linear movement and , so that , the cut is granted by 2 hydraulic cylinders simultaneously operating. When the shearing knifes show signs of wear can be restored filling special high temperature cutting material
