NuovoQuartzâ„¢ (or NQâ„¢) is a new definition for high-quality engineered quartz and the improved lifestyle that it brings about. Comprising up to *3% natural quartz (crystallized silicon dioxide *- one of nature&#**9;s hardest minerals that is widely available) and 7% of high-quality polymer resins, chemical pigments and accelerants, NQâ„¢ quartz slabs are produced under contemporaneous vibro-compaction under vacuum, resulting in a product that is highly uniform, compact and non-porous. NQâ„¢ slabs are then hot-cured, calibrated to precise thickness, and finally fine-polished to an alluring shine that characterizes NQâ„¢ quartz slabs visually. Congenitally endowed and masterfully crafted, NQâ„¢ engineered quartz slabs are maintenance-free, scratch-resistant, resistant to most household chemicals, with a very low water absorption rate and high density, and are generally food-safe and environment-friendly.
