Principle and structure of brake motors, the DC brake disc is assembled on the non-drive end shaft of the motor, when supplied with power, the brake works simultaneously, the electromagnetic force attracts the armature and endshield , then the motor begins to run; When the power supply is cut off, electromagnetic force lost, the spring pushes the armature to the brake disc, the motor stops immediately, a braking action finished , The power of the brake is supplied by rectifier fixed in the terminal box, DC *9V for motors up to 3KW and DC **0V for motors 4KW and up. Y2EJ series DC brake motors (DC brake assembled no Y2 series motors)and YDEJ series DC brake motors(DC brake assembled on YD series muli-speed motors)are also available.
