Computer-aided three-dimensional measurement and imaging techniques are important topics in information technology. Moire profilometry, also called Moire contourgraphy, is a noncontact three-dimensional shape measurement method based on three-dimensional contour projection of an object under test. Through this system, users can understand the principle and operation of three-dimensional shape measurement based on fringe projection. The fundamental principle of this system is based on a projective Moire profiler that projects the image of a reference grating onto the surface of an object under test. Modulated by the surface height of the object, the image of the reference grating is distorted. A CCD camera is then used to acquire the distorted fringes onto a computer. By processing the Moire fringes of the surface of the object under test with computer-aided phase-shifting algorithm, the three-dimensional shape information of the object can be obtained. Features include: Understand theory of Moire profilometry Understand computer-aided phase-shifting algorithm Measure object shape with optoelectronic and computer techniques Easy operation
