heat shrink sleeve for pipeline anticorrosion is designed for
corrosion protection of field-welded joints of plastic coated steel
pipelines. It has a thick Irradiation crosslinked polyethylene
backing coated with heat sensitive hot melt adhesives. When heated
the backing layer shrinks and the adhesive flows and forms a
reliable corrosion protection seal onto metal and adjacent coating
surfaces.
Long Term Corrosion Protection
After heating, a formed corrosion protection seal and strong
backing provides outstanding waterproofing effect and high chemical
resistance. FRDP resists impact, abrasion and ultraviolet light.
Free from penetrating pinholes due to multi-layered structure.
Excellent resistance against cathodic disbondment, dielectric
breakdown.
