Diode
laser hair removal technology is based on selective photo-thermal
effect. Laser beam travels through the outer layer of skin and to
the hair follicles where light energy from the laser beam is
transferred to thermal energy in the hair follicles, causing the
hair follicle tissues to be destructed and thus damaging the
regeneration of hair. The thermal destruction process of hair
follicles does not damage the surrounding tissues so it causes very
slight pain to the person under treatment. Laser hair removal is
the most safe and efficient method of permanent hair removal
currently available. HANS-D**0 Diode Laser Hair Removal Instrument
uses **0nm laser which is very sensitive to follicle melanin but
does not damage the normal epidermis. Absorbed by melanin in the
hair shaft and follicle, the laser energy is transferred into
thermal energy, thereby causing temperature of follicle to rise.
When follicle temperature rises high enough, follicle structure is
irreversibly destructed. The destructed follicle falls off after a
natural physiological process, and thus permanent hair removal is
achieved.
