Electric Vehicle Battery Management System

The EMUS BMS manages battery pack by monitoring temperature and voltage of each cell separately and by balancing voltages of whole pack during charge state. When charging of the pack is finished, the charger is automatically switched off via CAN interface or a standard relay. In case of charger with CAN interface, EMUS BMS configures the charger of optimal charge algorithm (user-configurable). The EMUS BMS tracks the voltage of the cells during discharge state and protects the battery from over-discharge by disconnecting the load. Advanced State Of Charge (SOC) system is in place to inform the user of percentage of energy left in the pack via analogue gauge or LCD screen (optional add-on). In case of LCD it displays bar graph of each cell, energy statistics, distance driven, distance remaining, etc.
