Description

“Hibiscus and Carp” and “Carp and Lotus” are two Shu Brocade masterpieces made with superb technique and skill by overcoming some dying problems. It is another important breakthrough in the development history of Shu Brocade. The two brocade pieces are of the same size and suitable for use as drapery in family house, office and conference room.

The first brocade, with colorful carps swimming under the fresh hibiscus leaves, conveys the message of a prosperous future and abundant year; and the second one, with the noble and pure lotus as the subject, presents a wonderful scenery characteristic of the poem “Green lotus leaves stretch so far to the ruddy horizon, Bathed in sunshine are exceptionally pink lotus blossoms.”
