Mustard Seed Oilhas been around for years, but you may not have heard of it for very good reasons.....Until now all Mustard Oil sold in Europe has been illegal!! In Law it is illegal to sell any food with an Erucic Acid level of more than 5% but as mustard oil typically has ****0% Erucic Acid this means that since ***7 all Mustard Oil sold in Europe and North America has had to be marked "FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY".

That doesn't mean a lot has not been used, particularly in Asian Cookery, but it does mean that it has been illegal - until now.
