Properties:

Good hydrolysis resistance; Lower moisture absorption so as to has less
effect on mechanism and stability; Show inertia to chemical medicine,
solvent and good weatherability; Quick rate of crystallization and good
fluidity so as to easily machine shaping; High dielectric constant and good
electriccal property; Good heat resistance; Low friction coefficient and
abrasion proof; Good flexural creep deformation; Easy to yield glassfibre
reinforced/flameretardant composite product; Can weld by supersonic
wave and easy postprocessing.

Application:

Polyethylene terephthalate (PBT) is widely used in electronics, electrical
and automobile industry. Because PBT high temperature resistance can
be used as insulation and TV flyback transformers, car ignition coil and
the subpower panel, office equipment, a variety of automotive exterior
parts, air conditioners, fans, electric stove base. Also used in Producing
glass fibre reinforced/flameretardant composite material, Optical fibre
jacket(OFJ), PBT films, etc.
