A press brake machine can be described by basic parameters, such as the press brake force or press brake tonnage and the press brake working length. Additional parameters include the press brake amplitude or press brake stroke, the distance between the press brake frame uprights or side housings, distance to the backgauge, and press brake work height. The press brake upper beam usually operates at a speed ranging from 1 to *5 mm/sec.
There are several types of press brakes as described by the means of applying force: mechanical press brake, pneumatic press brake, hydraulic press brake, and servo-electric press brake.
In a mechanical press brake, energy is added to a flywheel with an electric motor. A clutch engages the flywheel to power a crank mechanism that moves the ram vertically. Accuracy and speed are two advantages of the mechanical press brake.
Hydraulic press brakes operate by means of two synchronized hydraulic cylinders on the C-frames moving the upper beam. Servo-electric press brakes use a servo-motor to drive a ballscrew or belt drive to exert tonnage on the ram.
Pneumatic press brakes utilize air pressure to develop tonnage on the ram.
Until the ***0s, mechanical press brakes dominated the world market. The advent of better hydraulic press brakes and computer control press brakes have led to hydraulic press brake machines being the most popular.
Pneumatic and servo-electric press brake machines are typically
used in lower tonnage applications. Hydraulic press brakes produce
accurate high quality products are reliable, use little energy and
are safer because, unlike flywheel-driven press brakes, the motion
of the ram can be easily stopped at any time in response to a
safety device i.e. a light curtain.
Features of press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake
:
1,The press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake is steel welded structure;
2,The press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake eliminates stress by vibration.
3,The press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake has high mechanical strength, and exceptional rigidity.
4,The press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake uses hydraulic top-drive, steady and reliable.
5,The press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake has mechanical stop and steel torsion bar to maintain synchronization and high precision.
6,The press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake electric adjustment, manual fine adjustment, and digital display for backgauge distance and stroke of up ram.
7,Deflection compensation unit installed on the up die or on the down die if the operating pressure is bigger than **0T .
8. Hydraulic system of press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake:
- Adopt integrated hydraulic control system, more reliable
- Consist of motor, oil pump and valve groups
- Be installed at the top of the oil box, which can assure that the cylinder is always full of oil when the slide is moving down at high speed
- Complete working cycle can be realized through the control of hydraulic valve.
- The working pressure at the right side of the wall board can be adjusted by the remote adjustment valve
9. Protective fence and the safety interlock of press brake, hydraulic press brake, cnc pess brake :
- Protective fence and the safety interlocker to ensure the operation safety. Power supply switch that is set in the electric box will be automatically turned off when the box's door is opened or the fence is turned up. Protecting barrier with safety interlocker is mounted on the back of the machine. Another, there are travel limit protection and foot pedestal mounted emergency off switch.
