Description

Property:
CMC is white and flowing fine powder. It is tasteless, smelless, mould-proof, non-toxic, non-flammable and easily dissolved in water to become transparent viscose solution.

CMC solution has good properties of thickening, adhering, emulsifying, and stabilizing. Membrane forming, moisture-holding, shape-holding, dispersing and anti-enzyme. The solution of CMC can be mixed with dissolvable animal glues, glycerin, sobbitol, Arabic gum, pectin, xanthic gum and dissolvable starch.

Uses:
1. In ceramic, CMC is applied as retarder, water-retaining, thickening and stability. CMC is used for ceramic green body, glazing pulp and colored glaze in industry, it could strengthen toughness of shape, also enhance stability of glazing pulp.

CMC produces fewer gel granules in glaze formulation. It contains no colored impurity and is **0 percent combustible under firing condition, to ensure clean ceramic glaze. It can stabilize physical and chemical property of glaze formulation. It can improve glaze adhesion and reduce glaze cracking.

Regulate the drying time of glaze layer to obtain smooth glazed and improve the stability of glaze slurry. While CMC is applied in glaze decoration the printing process is smooth due to excellent dissolving capability of CMC. It will improve the clarity of pattern and keep same color.
2. Toothpaste-grade CMC:
CMC as colloid that helps shape and conglutinate toothpaste, the dense-degree suit and can keep the stable cream body appearance. After CMC fuse deeply the light rate is high, have better flow to change the function and touch to change the function.
3. CMC Used as stabilizer of acidity beverage, ice cream, CMC prevents protein from condensing, settling and laminating. Due to its unusual fine sugar paste state after dissolved in the water, it makes drinks taste good and smooth. With favorable evenness, it prolongs shelf life of acidity beverage.
