We are based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, which is the most famous fishing port in the UK. Grimsby used to be the largest fishing port in the world in its heyday. We source all our products from within the coastal waters of Scotland, Ireland and the North Sea. Our brown crabs are renowned to be the best in the country, having more demand than the Cornish or Cromer crabs. Most of our crabs are exported to France and Spain and to other international clients. Commonly known as the edible crab or brown crab the scientific name Cancer pagurus is a species of crab found in the North Sea, North Atlantic Ocean and in the Mediterranean Sea. It is a robust crab of a reddish-brown colour, having an oval carapace with a characteristic "pie crust" edge and black tips to the claws. A mature adult may have a carapace width of up to *5 cm (*0 in) and weigh up to 3 kg (6.6 lb). C. pagurus is a nocturnal predator, targeting a range of molluscs and crustaceans. It is the subject of the largest crab fishery in Western Europe, centred around the coasts of the British Isles, with more than *0,**0 tonnes caught annually. The largest being Bridlington, where we currently have over *0 crabbing boats that we source from.

Crabs are packed in airfreight boxes in *5kg net weight. They are then covered with wet Wood Wool and ice gel packs. We currently send out to Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore.
