steel CNG steel cylinders
CNG cylinders, compressed
natural gas cylinders, are available in a number of different
types, weights and sizes to suit different NGV(natural gas
vehicles). There are mainly two types CNG cylinders manufactured by
us, ISO****9 CNG cylinders type 1 and type 2 ,and all of the
cylinders are made of qualified steel, *4CrMo4.
The CNG cylinder type 1, also
known as steel cylinders, is made of all steel cylinders, no
covering, other than paint, on the shell. It’s cost effective but
heavier than type 2. It’s more widely used worldwidely than other
three types CNG cylinders.
The steel cylinder type 2,
steel liner reinforced with composite wrap partially around the
cylinder (hoop wrapped). Lighter weight and on less stronger
structure make it more and more welcomed.
All the steel cylinders are
manufactured according to strict standard and certified by BV
corporation. They are one of the safest factors of using CNG as
alternative fuel.
