Crude oil contains
asphaltenes, colloid, and paraffin, which will react with acid and
precipitate from crude oil. The formed sediment may plug formation
and affect acidification. �In ***0s, alkylphenyl fatty acid and
certain amount of oil-soluble surfactant were used as sediment
cleaning agent worldwide.� Later on it was replaced by sulfonate
or petroleum sulfonate.� In ***0s in China a solvent was found to
function as a sediment cleaning agent but not as effective as W*3
from US. By taking advantage of the special characters of both, we
put phenyl sulfonate and polyether in solvent. �This blend
improves the efficiency of precipitate prevention and sediment
removal.
