Foam  dressing:

Foam dressing is good at absorbing exudation. It keeps the wound in a moist environment and manage the exudation excellently. Special small holes on it can absorb plenty of exudation, secretion, and cell fragments effectively. It can manage exudation and ease patients’ tension.

Function and performance

1.      High absorbency, absorb the exudates from the wound in abundance.

2.      Covered by PU film which is waterproof and can prevent bacteria infection.

3.      No sticking on the wound when changing the dressing, no pain.

4.      Soft, comfortable, it is also can be used as pad.

5.      With characteristic of autolysis to clean the wound, it also improve growing of granulation

6.      Special structure with many small holes, which can absorb the exudates vertically and protect the wound edge from maceration

7.      Besides all above advantages, silver ion foam dressing also has excellent antibacterial function.

Characteristics

1.      Absorb exudates massively fast.

2.      While absorbing exudates, it can also control and prevent the wound from exudating heavily(namely “holding the water”),keeping a moist environment and accelerating healing.

3.      There is ultra-thin hydrocolloid or PU film on surface of self-adhesive foam dressing. The surface is permeable and waterproof that ensure a sterile environment and prevent cross infection. Further it is easy to use.

4.      It gels when mixing with exudates and will not stick on the wound. Easy peeling, will not cause the secondary damage.

5.      Soft, comfortable, easing pressure.

Application:

High exudate wounds, Ulcers, bedsores, donated skin areas, burn hurt etc.

Foam dressing is new high-end medical dressing, which is polyurethane, containing CMC, processed by newest foam technology.

Instructions:

1.      before using foam dressing, clean the wound with normal saline, dry the surrounding skin tenderly.

2.      Foam dressing(without glue)must be used together with adhesive dressing. Change a new one when the exudate is 2 cm approaching the edge of dressing.

3.      One Piece can stay no longer than 7 days, determined by quantity of exudation and absorbing extent.

4.      Foam dressing(without glue) can be used together with alginate wound dressing or silver ion wound dressing so that the autolytic necrotic tissue can debride it self.

Note:
1, Not applicable for dry wound surface.
2, Clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin before using.
3, The dressing size should exceed the wound edge about 2cm.
4, The dressing can stay on the wound no longer than 7 days.
5, When exudation becomes less, stop using and change to use other range of dressing.
