Use of Dry
Ice Dry ice is mainly used for cooling food
stuff, particularly during transportation. The process is simple -
just put food items into a Styrofoam box and add a pre-determined
amount of dry ice. Alternatively to put dry ice directly into the
storage compartment of a truck can produce the same effect. Dry ice
is commonly used for storage of ice cream, aircraft meals, vaccines
and fresh meat.
